Born in 1951 in Ndiobène, Senegal. Ousame Ndiaje Dagobert works as a graphic artist, painter, designer and photographer. A graduate of fine arts at the Institut National des Arts du Sénégal [Senegal National Institute for the Arts] (1976) and graphic design at the Académie royale des beaux-arts d’Anvers [Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp], Belgium, Ousame Dago began his career in 1996 with an exhibition at the Galerie Nationale [National Gallery] in Dakar. His Woman Earth series was exhibited in Italy, Spain and Japan. Ousmane Dago has also done design work for UNESCO, NEAS and CORESRIA, Lissa Magazine as well as album sleeves for Senegalese musicians Youssou N’Dour and Thione Seck.
